Cook the sausage over medium heat for about 10 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks, until browned and cooked through.<\/li><li>Add the cooked sausage to the bowl with the bread cubes.<\/li><li>In the same pan, melt the butter and add the onions, celery, garlic, parsley, sage, rosemary, salt and pepper. Saute over medium heat for 10 minutes, until the vegetables are softened. Add the wine, and allow the wine to reduce to about half, 10 minutes.\u00a0<\/li><li>Take the pan off the heat and mix in the stock to combine all of the flavors.<\/li><li>Pour the mixture into the bowl with the bread cubes and sausage. Add the beaten egg.<\/li><li>\u00a0Mix until everything is well combined, and all of the liquid is absorbed. If it seems too dry, add more broth as needed.<\/li><li>Transfer the stuffing into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes, until browned on top and hot in the middle.
