Low Carb Cheesy Broccoli Bake

A cheesy casserole topped with low carb bread crumbs!
  • 2- 12 oz packages Frozen Broccoli Spears
  • 4 Tbsp Butter, separated
  • 2 Tbsp LC- Thick n Saucy
  • 1½ cups Heavy Cream
  • 1½ cups Chopped Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp Chili Powder
  • ¼ tsp Paprika
  • ¾ cup LC-Fresh Baked Seasoned Bread Crumbs, reserve ½ cup
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Cook broccoli according to package instructions- take care to not overcook
  3. Drain broccoli and pour into a 13x9" casserole dish
  4. Sprinkle ¼ cup LC-Fresh Baked Seasoned Bread Crumbs over the broccoli
  5. In a large saucepan, melt 2 Tbsp butter
  6. Add 2 Tbsp LC-Thick n Saucy and stir to make a roux
  7. Slowly pour in the cream, whisking until thickened
  8. Add chopped cheese and spices; stir until cheese is melted
  9. Pour cheese sauce over broccoli
  10. In a small pan, melt 2 Tbsp butter
  11. Add ½ cup LC-Fresh Baked Seasoned Bread Crumbs and stir until browned
  12. Pour on top of cheese and broccoli mixture
  13. Bake for 30 minutes
