Low Carb Pizza Sauce

Preparation Time: 5 minutes 
Cooking Time: 10 minutes 
Serves: 2-3 pizzas 


12 oz can of tomato paste 
1 cup of chicken bone broth 
2-3 cloves of garlic, chopped 
½ tsp of dried sage 
½ tsp of dried oregano 
½ tsp of dried basil 
½ tsp of dried thyme 
⅛ tsp of crushed red pepper 
1 tbsp of olive oil 
1 bay leaf 
½ tsp of salt 
¼ tsp of black pepper 
5 leaves of fresh basil 


  • Put the tomato paste, chicken bone broth, garlic, sage, oregano, basil, and thyme into a blender and blend until all ingredients thoroughly mix and come to a smooth consistency. 
  • Heat up a small saucepan at medium-low heat with the olive oil. 
  • Pour in the blended sauce and cook until sauce slightly simmers. Add in the bay leaf, salt, and pepper and mix to incorporate. Cover with lid and let simmer for 10 minutes. 
  • Take away from heat and let sauce cool down. Chop up the basil leaves and mix into the sauce. Bottle the sauce or go straight to putting it on a pizza. We recommend our Low Carb Personal Size Pizza Shells.
