They are serious when they say apply immediately. This stuff was super thick. I prepared the butter cream recipe and it was very thick so I added the heavy cream to thin it out a bit. This worked much better. I had to make more so I whipped the butter first in a mixer, then added the mix, and then added the water and cream. That method seemed to work better. As for the taste, it's pretty good. Nothing overly sweet or chocolaty. On the LC yellow cake it was a nice addition.

Very good! Good chocolote flavor, not painfully sweet. I mixed this up without whipping in any butter or cream. It was just great on its own. It does harden up almost immediately after mixing, so don't prepare it until your cake is cool and ready to frost. Then mix and apply right away.
