Easy Low Carb Egg Drop Soup

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon liquid aminos
  • Pinch of salt and ground white pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons LC Thick n Saucy
  • 2 raw large eggs
  • Lemon juice
  • Green onions for garnish

Method:

Heat the chicken broth in a small saucepan. Stir in the sesame oil, liquid aminos, white pepper and Thick n Saucy.

Break the two eggs into a bowl or measuring cup and scramble them well.

Bring the chicken broth to a slow boil. Using a spool, swirl the broth in one direction.

As the broth is still swirling, slowly pour the beaten eggs into the broth. As the broth swirls, it will cook the eggs and they will separate into pieces.

Give it another stir to break up the eggs and ladle into bowls. If desired, add a squeeze of fresh lemon and scallions.
