  • 1/2 tsp instant or rapid rise dry yeast (not active dry)
  • 2 tsp LC-Sweet White
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 2/3 cups LC-Pizza & Bagel Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup of warm water


  1. In a large bowl combine all the dry ingredients together, then add the wet ingredients and mix well
  2. Knead for a few minutes to develop the gluten and then divide into 6 balls
  3. Roll each ball between your hands and poke a finger through the middle to create the hole in the middle of the bagel. Widen this with your fingers
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and put in a warm place (70-90°F) to rise for 1 hour
  5. Bring a large pot of water to the boil and put each bagel into the water for 20 seconds on each side
  6. If desired add toppings now (seeds etc.)
  7. Bake for 12-15 min at 400°F
